It is good to see the new 66 is slowly starting it's journey into the wild. I can easily see one the the new 2 3/4 barrel specimens in my safe. It may take a little while as I just added a police trade-in Model 65-3 with the 3" barrel.

I may have opened Pandora's box with my first 3" K-frame. It has quickly risen to become one of my favorite shooters. The balance and weight of my 65 is near perfection. Adding one of these new production beauties would give me that feel from about 30 years forward in time.
