He must have tried to grab it, since the glock will not fire without pulling the trigger. Just poor reporting. I see you bought a 640, excellent gun, hope it works well and you never need it, other than practice. As for the one in the chamber if you speak to a Smith or Glock armorer they could explain the inner workings of the firearms.
