I just ordered a CZ checkmate, better believe I am spending alot of time checking it out before it leaves the counter and even before I fill out the paper work. I am bringing the x1.5 x7.5 magnifier and a pre-made inspection sheet.
- Bring a flashlight
- Look the gun over
- Bring a magnifying glass if its a high value gun
- Ask your local dealer to assist in looking it over (his interest to keep you returning)
- Go through the action and finish.
*Be advised that unless it is a complete custom or High End, you Are going to find blemishes, tool marks, you will find something...if its at an acceptable level, accept the gun, if not reject it.
