I was under the impression the factory nickel revolvers were shipped in silver colored boxes vs. blue boxes.
I am not an expert and will wait and see just how wrong I am.
Pictured below is a factory nickel Model 10-5 I acquired last August for $222.00 plus sales tax. It did not come with a box and is far from a perfect finish condition.
There is a large stamped "N" on the flat under the barrel when you open the yoke. It also has a stamped "N" on the frame under the stocks/grips.
