Default Model 66 - Trying to Establish Providence ***Wayne Newton***
I have a Model 66 that I am trying to establish provenance on. What's peaked my interest is that S&W appears to have intentionally stamped their insignia on the side plate in a slightly different place to allow for the hand engraving of "Wayne Newton 1976". It would be great if I were able to prove if this was his at one point in time...presentation piece, personal carry piece, etc...

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
