On Monday I took a 2.5 drive north to the Dallas TX area to look at 3 x 3" S&W 44 caliber revolvers but only one returned home in my possession.

The 2 that didn't were stated to be Lew Horton 624 and Lew Horton 29-3.A quick message to ERMinotatlewhortondotcom revealed that both were not from LH.They were identical to the LH but they were end of run guns that S&W shipped to other distributors when LH didn't accept the remainder.Prices were a bit too high with no box/papers/tools.

A Model 696 no dash,product code 103132 shipped on the 318th day of 1996 was the one that returned home with me.I swapped out he rubber grips for a pair of factory K/L RB Combats

Today it went to the range and was all I hoped it would be.
