As others have said, this is a .32-20 Hand Ejector, built on the K frame (the .32 Long revolvers were built on the smaller I frame).

I show one with serial number 72535 that shipped in October, 1917. Yours would be close to that, most likely, although they did not ship in serial order.

The cartridge stamp, 32 W.C.F. CTG, was one of three used on this model. The approximate dates for this particular marking are 1914 to 1922. Before that, they were marked as 32 Winchester CTG, and after that period (mid-year 1922 and on) they were marked 32-20 CTG. Production stopped in late 1929 or early 1930, never to be resumed. They remained in the S&W catalog until 1940, since production overran demand in the 1920s.
