Offhand, I forget how many Model 10s I have. Mostly 2" snubs, a couple of 4" guns. One Model 15 2" snub. We won't even count the Model 64 that I had rebuilt into a 2" snub. I am extremely fond of the fixed sights on the Model 10s and the M64. I spent years in cowboy action shooting and once you get used to the ease of use of fixed sight revolvers the adjustable sights just seem superfluous.

No gripe against those adjustable sights; most of my other S&W revolvers have them, and I have never adjusted one of them, either!
But I carry a 2" K frame Model 10 or Model 64 for a reason.

The OP doesn't give us barrel lengths in his choice or maybe I missed it. if it's a range gun and something for the grandkids I'd say pick the better looking one.
