I love shooting my 66-2 4" barrel too! I stick with 158 grain 357 rounds and a balance of 38 Special, all factory stock, but I'm not a reloader. Nice shooting area you have set up there!
That ammo was .38 Special I had loaded with 5.8 gr. of Unique.
Yes I have heard about the issues of 125 gr. Magnum rounds being used extensively causing problems.
.38 Special is what I use most the time.
