Interesting way to look at it. I can only assume you haven't done this. There is no way to damage your trigger. Yes, you'll still have some creep. No, it will never be as good as a really nice trigger like a Geissele or Timney, but it's vastly superior to the regular GI trigger.
Even if you did damage your trigger, a replacement is what, $26? It's really a no brainer. Do it, if you don't like it, then buy the expensive one. If you like it, which I did, you're out nothing.
