A little bit of contradiction there. While damage is unlikely, it's possible if one get over zealous and starts grinding instead of polishing. You also just wasted $26 and are right back where you started or worse off. Milspec triggers aren't known for their consistent quality.

Yep, just what I said. I have done it and I was not content with the result. I then tried an ALG and didn't care for that either. I now have a Velocity 3# trigger w/zero creep and a "glass rod" break. The Velocity is exactly what I was looking for. For $135 (Google it) it was well worth it! As always, YMMV.
