Like most anything else, improvements along the way are generally made for good reasons. I would verify as another poster mentioned that this is in fact a 2013 or newer production 9c as I believe improvements were made to the Striker Block and barrel rifling. You will also stand a chance of getting a better trigger on the newer production guns. I've owned a 40c since 2013 and it has been flawless in .40 and also with an OEM S&W .9mm barrel. Very accurate and fun shooter in 9mm configuration. My primary use for it is as a nightstand gun with the full size mags and X-Grip adapters. If it's at least a 2013 model I'd probably offer between $300-325.
