I have a 1926 .44 that went to W&K in the first shipment in January 1927. Fifteen years later, it was sent back to S&W for a refinish and new grips. At that time, it belonged to a barber near Pikeville KY. I'd love to know how it got from Ft Worth to eastern Kentucky.
