I've got a 637-2 that is mostly my BUG. I did bob the hammer spur on mine to keep it from snagging. Actually, I bought another hammer and bobbed it and kept the orginal, but I digress.

I like my 637 a lot. Easy to take care of, even though eventually the finish is probably gonna come off, I've been lucky in that area.

The gun is accurate for me at self defense distances. I've never had a bit of trouble with mine. And, oh yeah, I can still shoot it SA. I just catch the hammer with my thumb and pull back. Hope this helps!
