Well, I can let him know in a few days. I'm waiting out the "cooling off period" and should be able to pick mine up in two days. This is my first poly framed striker fired pistol. All my other pistols are steel or aluminum framed and either SA or DA/SA. And of course all my revolvers are steel. I wanted a basic "modern" semi to see how it would function as a packing/truck/HD gun.

What struck me about the SD9VE is that it seems to be the modern incarnation of my Model 10 revolvers. Everything you need and nothing you don't need.
