Purchased off a forum a couple of years ago. Sold to a new shooter in my group, who recently offered it back up.
Started as a Springfield Armory 1911A-1 GI model, with straight slide serrations. Got a mild custom package from Don Williams/Actionworks Street Package with a few additions:
- plain black Heinie rear sight, dovetailed front with gold bead
- throated barrel and polished feed ramp
- tuned extractor
- properly fitted beavertail (as opposed to most factory ones, which have too much slop)
- trigger job with tool steel hammer/sear/disconnector
- short match trigger form Harrison
- stippled front strap
- flat serrated mainspring housing (no Springfield lock)
- lowered and flared ejection port
- speed safety
- mild dehorn
- soft bead blast
No build sheet. Nice condition. Unknown round count. After a proper cleaning and lubrication, I tested it again. Works and shoots well.
Comes in Springfield plastic box with two magazines.
Asking $950 shipped to your FFL. Make sure you can purchase it in your state, as I don't want to get tangled up with some weird restrictions such as California, etc.
