you will likely get a different answer from each reply! - any good gun/bore cleaner and oil/lube should do just fine unless you live in extreme climates or use your firearms daily.

there are several good brands of CLP - which are cleaners, lubes, & protecting oils - Breakfree is a popular one - it is a good lube & protectant and just an ok solvent/cleaner but it if you don't shoot a lot & only want 1 product try one of the CLP products. I usually use hoppe's solvents to get most of the fouling out then finish up with breakfree
