As far as automatic weapons go I believe the following were used or are perhaps still being used:
Thompson sub machine gun
Uzi Sub machine gun
H&K MP 5
P 90 ( I believe this is the current sub gun in use)

For those of you remembering the Reagan assassination attempt one of the agents deploys an UZI after the shots were fired.

I sat thru a presentation given by Gerald Ford after his term as President and he was flanked by 2 SS agents. One of the agents coats opened enough and I could see he was packing an UZI.
