Yes. S&W used it until after the war. Keep in mind that a refinisher will charge extra to strip the nickel and polish it. With shipping you may be looking at >$400 for all the work especially if you have the case coloring restored on the hammer and trigger. Then, if the stocks aren't pristine...yikes!
