Dino44, beautiful 32-20 M&P. I believe that finish could be original. The pins have not been polished flat and the hammer and trigger remain case hardened.Another tell is if the beveled edge of the mushroom shaped ejector rod tip is still in the white. If it has been blued than it is a refinish and a very good one. Check under the grips and see if there is a rework date like 10-52 which would be October,1952. I'm not sure when the high polish was changed to a brushed blue but my 32-20 M&P has a high polish and it was shipped in 1911. The caliber on mine is .32 Winchester. It was changed to 32 WCF around 1914. Very nice revolver at a very nice price. The seller might have thought it was the more common 38 M&P.Mine is a 5".
