The DAO trigger is different if a person hasn't done much with them on other autos or of course revolvers. I have a 3954 and a 6946...love 'em both and they have great DAO triggers which I shoot well. I also have a 4053 which we know is a .40 on a bigger frame in single stack with DAO...it feels a bit heavier and longer which requires more practice. I haven't handled a 59 series DAO but I would assume it's very much like my compact 9's.

If you're used to TDA or striker fired and relish a 4-5 lb trigger with a short reset then move along. On the other hand if you also enjoy revolvers and like to experience and be familiar with other platforms then jump right in! With the cost of admission only $350 you can't lose.

Shooting revolvers in DA or DAO autos makes you better with everything else.
