Yes, it fires so it works. For 1,624 rounds to be exact it has gone bang every time.

@ Raisin, yes I am talking about just moving to left in the "channel" that contains the striker block.

It's like as soon as you start to pull the trigger back the trigger bar moves off the "bump" in the slide channel allowing it to engage the sear as icemn was explaining.

Sounds like it's working normally!
