I'm selling some of my third gen guns I just don't shoot, so this one is up for sale.
S&W Model all steel 5946 DAO. The special thing about this gun is it is a blued version, not stainless as you normally see. This gun has an import mark, and it is known that S&W made a run of the blued versions for foreign use, including some even for the Royal Mounties of Canada. The gun has holster wear, but the barrel is bright and shiny and the gun shoots flawlessly. These foreign LEO guns spent lots of time in a holster and not much time on the range. This one seems to be no different. I bought a new set of OEM S&W curved backstrap grips for it back then, they are flawless.
I got this from a user here 3 years ago and probably put about 100 rounds thought it over the 3 years I've owned it The gun ran flawlessly, it's a great shooter. Gun comes with one 15 round magazine and I believe I have a second 10 rounder I can throw in. I'll confirm that. No box/papers of course.
