Hey all. I picked up a governor last week and am really digging it so far. I would say I have around 150 rounds through it give or take, mainly .410 with about 50 rounds of .45 auto. Up until this morning I had no issues. This morning I fired 2 cylinders of .45 ACP and then 1 cylinder of Federal 000 buck. Everything fired just fine. The issue arose when I went the eject the shot shells. I opened the cylinder and the extractor wouldn't budge. I had to go back into the house and use a pencil to push out a shell. After that the others came out using the extractor rod. When I looked at the one that was stuck I noticed it was pretty bulged at the bottom.

Before I loaded that cylinder of buck I noticed there was some fouling residue in the cylinder from the .45 auto. Also, some of the shells I had to push into the cylinder to get them to seat. I ran a bore snake through each chamber and fired a cylinder of cheap Winchester .410 without issue. Then 3 more of the Federal, shooting one as fast as I could pull the trigger, and everything ejected fine. Including the ones I had to push in to seat fully. I did notice a couple of cases were a little swollen right at the rim but they ejected fine with a rap on the ejector rod.

What I am thinking is that maybe the fouling from the .45 auto may have caused an issue or I possibly had a bad round/box of ammo. I am at around 75 rounds of the Federal and only had that one round stick. I am really thinking the ammo might have been slightly out of spec and the fouling exacerbated the issue.

Going forward my plan is to shoot shot shells first followed by .45 ammo last and then clean it before loading more .410. Do ya'll think a dirty cylinder could have caused this problem? I appreciate any thoughts or input. Thanks.
