I have looked at a lot of the new S&W revolvers in the last couple of years and, though I dislike the stocks they are supplying, the revolvers themselves look good to me. I don't care for the lock mechanism, but that feature is not a deal-breaker to me. I'm more interested in how well the gun shoots and how well it stands up to use.

I have been wanting to give one a try so naturally if you decide on the new one I hope you come back and tell us about it. I think they are worth a try. One of our most knowledgeable members and collectors here owns and shoots a Model 29-10 and has commented favorably on it. You can be assured he knows a thing or two about S&W revolvers.
