Yes, I guess they are bullet feeding devices eh? You are right that you will spend a lot more on the ammo than the gun in the long run, but you still get the bill you have to pay for the gun after you put it on your Credit Card.
You buy the bullets in incremental charges, which doesn't hurt your wallet as much on each bill.
