Here's a Galco/Bianchi Frankenstein shoulder rig which you may find meets your requirements. This one's set up for a 3" 66, but Galco offers the same component holster for L-Frame, too (got one for my 696). The diagonal holster positioning makes for superior concealment, excellent grip acquisition and smooth drawing characteristics. The thumb snap is among the most secure, yet easily manipulated. The Galco component shoulder harness is of thicker, wider leather than the standard Miami Classic thin "bra strap" type, for better weight distribution and less tendency to stretch. The off-side speedloader carrier is Bianchi 16R, which positions the loaders around your rib cage instead of at the apex, and the pouches are individually removable for use on a trouser belt. The Bianchi pouches appear sized for K-Frame but perhaps could be wetted and stretched enough to take L-Frame loaders. The L-Frame sized component speedloader carrier offered by Galco seems large enough for N-Frame, but will ride like a huge tumor under your arm (mine's now in the spare, unused holster bin).
