Nice gun! I actually like the ramp front sight better, especially if you going to be taking it in and out of a holster.
As for what you paid, I realize some "experts" said it is not worth that, but yet many, many guns sell for what they say is too much. As the old saying goes, "it is worth whatever someone pays for it." I would have probably paid what you did if I was looking for one.
A few years back, there was another post about someone paying too much for a gun. The buyer paid what someone else said was way too much and that they were available much cheaper. I wrote that person and offered them $100 for free. All they had to do was find a similar gun and in similar condition (I was actually looking for that one) for what they said they were going for. If I could buy it at that price I would send them $100 finders fee. Never heard back....surprise, surprise, surprise.
