The problem isn't the Red Dot .. its you not wearing your glasses because you can't get a proper fit .. I really feel for you because I have had that happen several times in my 30 plus years of wearing glasses ..

Next time try Costco .. good price and frames that will stay put and won't get bent out of shape because of the double hinge design of the eye pieces ..

I have the same problem along with dry eyes which keep me from wearing contacts .. so I have glasses that change to sun glass when outside .. so the red dot is crisp looking with my glasses but a blob when not wearing them ..

Get your glasses fixed or a new pair and keep the Red Dot !!
