I also have large hands but like the small size of the 7 round mags. I really cant see a big difference between shooting the 7 or 8 round mag. There might be a very small edge to the 8.

My wife prefers the eight and will not even shoot the 7. It seems like most people here also prefer the 8. I don't add the extension to the 7.

Hogue beavertail grip is a nice upgrade. Thats it for me. I always considered Apex but after reading the problems here I don't think I will.
