I zero around a ballparked 45-50yds. Longest shot I can take on the property that is cleared is 140yds. My bullet rise isn't so much with this zero that I can't hit 3" spinners from that distance, and I'm still accurate enough at shorter distances. I don't have a battle rifle, I just shoot in my backyard for fun. That zero works for my situation. If the situation changed, I'd likely change my habits with it. Would love to be able to shoot 300yds from time to time.
