For the record I wasn't complaining about the size of the dot on my Vortex. I only said I liked the smaller dot on my Primary Arms Advanced better. I didn't buy an AR for target shooting. My reason for mentioning this at all was because I happened to be shooting 125+ yards and I was shooting pretty small groups considering I was shooting off-hand. I just said I might have done a little better with a smaller dot. But that is not the primary use for my AR. I was just plinking at the time. I find the red dot on my Vortex to be totally adequate for the intended purpose of my Sport which is HD.
