You are correct...this is their small of the back holster and I use it for appendix carry...it's perfect for that...very comfortable and spreads the weight out nicely.....and at appendix I needed/wanted 0 cant on the weapon....I had emailed them and asked that they make that special cutout in back of the front sight which makes sitting with this holster at appendix a dream...no binding at all in the sitting position......
