I was just at my local hardware store yesterday. It has been around forever
and they always have any odd thing that you can't find at the Box stores.
I thought about grabbing a 45 but I have been sticking with the 9mm since ammo is so cheap. I usually pay around $9-11 per box and that gets expensive if you shoot several times per month with 2 people.
We get one free day per week at the range with our membership. So, I try to make at at least that day. If my wife can't make it, I try to schedule another day. I still get the free time if possible

If WE don't support local businesses it will all go the way of HOME DEPOT...remember all the little hardware stores, and OFFICE DEPOT, remember all the little stationery stores???
