Phil's comment using the term "threat situation"..... made me pause......

For the record ...IMO.. there is a difference in how you go checking on a bump in the night and "clearing a house"....or finding yourself in the middle of a "threat situation"

But as WVSig stated ...... whatever makes you happy is ok by me.

Just try not to illuminate any officers responding to your 911 call with a light mounted on an AR! It could hurt!!!
