We all know there is variation from firearm to firearm (as I previously mentioned ) but at least it gives us a better idea of what to expect than tests using a 10" test barrel . They use test barrels so there is NO cylinder/barrel gap and the test barrels are long to get the most velocity possible . Speer (my favorite manuals ) has been using firearms for many many yrs to write their load data manuals .
