I have several of both types. All work equally fine for range use. Can't say I even notice till cleaning time (and would have to go inspect them one by one to see which configuration each are in.) I just enjoy them the way they came. Guess I'm about as impartial and unexcited as a gun guy could be on the topic. :-)
