While stainless is more durable and can be bead blasted to restore, I'm a fan of black weapons especially for carry.

I have a 4513-2 that is very nice and shoots well but when it comes to carry the 457 is the one that goes with me. Besides the black finish, the alloy frame makes for a lighter load.
