I just paid $800.00 for close to new 2 1/2" nickel model 19-4. I may have over paid by $100.00 - $150.00, but I've got the revolver I wanted, and can spend my time enjoying it not searching for one.

Exactly! I've done the same thing a number of times; I've also
done the opposite. If not a wash, it's great entertainment. If I were looking for a P&R, nickel 19 snubbie, I'd give up to $1K.
