I have very little experience using the Apex trigger parts, but they seem to be the most popular across the board. From what I'm reading into your question, their forward set sear and kit is what you're looking for. That being said, this are the kits I have heard most of the guys having issues with and having to tweak the "candy cane" etc for reliability. Just adjusting the "candy cane" loop as mentioned above can also reduce your pretravel. This is for your compact and shield. The 2.0 works completely different. Maybe drop Apex a line or check their website and see if they have the FSS for the 2.0. You may want to do some research on using these parts for duty guns as well. I did just drop in a duty/carry kit in a 1.0, very nice, but still similar pretravel.
