Cajun, Better, I don't know. I will say that I have changed any of my 1911s that came with full length guide rods to the GI type. Even the bull barreled guns.

I wonder if FLGRs are just something buyers expect, like 3-hole triggers, to show others they are real Kool, in-the-know, Gun Guys?
