Seems like everybody and his brother wants a .44 magnum, and so there are a LOT of the maggies out there. For my purposes, the .44 special does just fine, easier on the hand, and loadable to near .44 mag specs if you really want to.

These are not found on every street corner. These .44 special Model 24-3 revolvers were part of a special run in 1983 and 1984. 2,625 had 4" barrels, and 4,874 were equipped with 6.5" barrels.



And this .44 special Model 624 with a 3" barrel was in a special run for Lew Horton distributors.
