That issue of Handloader had an excellent article on the 357 magnum.
I really liked the 38-44 Data as this was just what I was looking for to shoot in my 1970 Ruger Blackhawk, with 5 1/2 inch barrel . I even bought 100 brand new , Starline 357 magnum brass just to try these loads in. I'm a range scrounger and usually don't buy new brass.
Been having some excellent results with Accurate Arms #5 in these loads. 6.1 grains is showing promise. At 50 feet 15 shots grouped into a 1 3/8ths inch circle , just one big ragged hole!
I made copies of that article and put them with my reloading manuals....I usually misplace magazines and then can't find the data.
