Their 44 mag is on the light side at just over 1000 FPS. Enough to give you the "magnum experience" but noticeably softer than standard range ammo. I also got some HSM 44 spl from Cabela's. Very smoky stuff, like shooting black powder. I've seen some people claim that's intentional, for the "old west" effect. But I wouldn't buy it again, not for my indoor range. The LAX ammo is good clean stuff.
