Default Trailboss and the 460 S&W

Hey everyone. I have just picked up the 5" 460V. I would like some info on target loads. I am at the range frequently. I shoot between 100 and 300 rounds through my 44 and 500 every week and will be doing the same with my 460. I usually shoot 20 to 50 full magnum loads then the rest are light loads. For the 500 and 44 those are usually made using Tightgroup.

For the 460 I am seeing lots of people using Trailboss so that's what I want to focus on. I have an abundance of 300 grain lead hard cast round nose, 230 grain jacketed round nose, 230 grain jacketed hollow points, and 250 grain jacketed hollow points.

From what I've seen I should be using between 14 and 15 grains of Trailboss with the 230 and 250 grain jacketed projectiles and 14.5 grains for the lead 200 grain.

What would OAL be for any of the above loads? I know 250 grain on Hodgdon website is 2.2” for any powder selection. What OAL would I use for 230 grain round nose and 200 grain lead round nose?

Can anyone confirm they are using similar loads with Trailboss in the 460 brass with good results? These will be strictly for punching paper at my indoor range. Thank you!
Mike C.
