The serial number is K985xx. The number on the yoke is X 7 52424 It is a 5 screw with a strain screw. 6" Barrel. Blued Finish
The information on the box is as follows:
Companion Gun to the K-32 and K-38 Masterpieces
Micrometer Click Sight, Short Cocking Action, Ribbed Barrel, Heavy Frame, Anti-Backlash Trigger, S&W High Speed Hammer.
The gun is in very good shape showing little use but was carried in a holster so the blue finish on the front of the barrel is worn for about 3/4"
I am happy to post photos if needed.
I also have the 357 Post War 5 screw that you helped me to ID. in another post. Mfg 1953
Is it better to sell these guns as a pair or separately?
Again thanks so much for you help with this question.

Welcome to the FORUM! I suggest that you take them out and shoot them before you decide to sell. (my opinion) They are desirable in the right condition. Sell separately. It can be hard to replace something once it is gone. Bob
