New Colt Cobra
I finally got a chance to look at one of the new Colt Cobras in the flesh today. I noticed a couple of things that really put me off, other than the $799 price tag.
It has what looks like a miniature UID label etched into the frame on the right side just ahead of the serial number. I suspect it is the serial number in UID format, or it may contain much more information.
The grip feels good, but just looks wrong, it looks like it sits back off the frame, I don't know how else to describe it. Makes the gun much larger overall than I expected. More like a 2" K frame.
I was all set to buy one, based on the reviews I've seen. But I think I'll pass.
