Had an old Bushmaster non threaded HBAR A2. I don't shoot it but now and then I drag the wife to the club with me and she shoots it. Last time we were out she complains that her rifle is heavier than mine, and how come she just gets a plastic handguard (acutually she don't give a rats about the rifle but she likes to give me a hard time). Palmetto had these stainless slim profile mid-length gas system uppers with 13in M-LOK free float handguard for $219. How's a guy supposed to pass that up? Slapped on her Bushmaster lower and grabbed a red dot off one of my AR .22s... presto chango!
