You're not wrong. The 10-5 by definition is the standard-barrel variant; the 10-6 was made concurrently as the heavy-barrel variant. Both were made from 1962 to 1977. Never say never with S&W, but AFAIK there is no 10-6 snubbie (although possibly a 3" version? That I am not sure about).
PS: Looked it up. Due to the large number of special orders and variants, the section on the Model 10 in the Standard Catalog is not the easiest to work with, but it appears that while there were special orders of 2.5" and 3" HB versions, I can find no 2" HB mentioned.
