I was offered that deal at a local Academy... really not much of a deal. It was bundled with a Taurus polymer 9mm of some kind. I had no inclinations to buy the Taurus and just wanted the RR. I crunched the numbers and would have been much better off getting the RR from elsewhere instead of buying the bundle and flipping the Taurus.
I'd like a RR some day, I hear great things for the price, but have been thoroughly enjoying my Ruger Mk-IV (yes it has been fixed per the recall) and it's sucking up all my .22 ammo.
